Little Blue and Little Yellow and color mixing.

After reading the story "Little Blue and Little Yellow" by Leo Lioni, the students then experimented with color mixing on their own. Ask them about how they made the two dots hug to create green without getting thier hands dirty. Be sure to ask to see their artwork creations during your conference visit.

For the month of March the focus color is green.
The topics and themes for this month are community helpers, transportation, and dental health. The students are also preparing for the student led conferences on March 17th. Remember there is no school for Kindergarten students only on this day, as they are to come with their parents to the kindergarten classroom where your child will guide you through some activities and fun.
